Pasta – Basta! - Restaurant "Medici"
From 6 February to 30 march 2012, the Italian cuisine-lovers can look forward to plenty of delicacies: Faithful to the motto “Pasta-Basta”, it will be all about “Bella Italia” at restaurant “Medici” in 4-star superior hotel “Colosseo”. Our chef Thomas Röttele and its team will enchant you with typical mediterranean delicacies and corresponding Italian wines.
To begin your culinary trip through Italy, you will taste different antipasti, like Parma ham, truffle and Barolo salami, gambaretti, parmesan and gorgonzola with figs. Pasta-lovers can try for example spaghetti alla “Don Vito” with garlic, tomatoes and basil. Some original compositions, like spinach risotto on quail eggs and black winter truffle or Orecchiette alla Pugliese with grilled gambas and scallops await the Mediterranean cuisine fans. Typically Italian dessert creations, like fruit tiramisu or panna cotta with poached quinces and raspberry sorbet will be the perfect finale of your Italian evening.
Special menus, dishes for two as well as delicacies for the little guests are also available on our menu. Please reserve your table in advance.
